Hi! My name Melissa Lockley, I am a Tasmanian based artist living in the city of Hobart. Currently undertaking a Fine Arts degree with honours at The University of Tasmania

My work is largely conceptual, working primarily in printmaking, sculpture, and drawing, exploring the themes of identity, separation, connection and disconnection.  My visual art often involves text opening up exploratory dialogues on alternative paradigms of existence that is inclusive of both the internal and external manifestations of various realities..

The interest in both the inner and outer worlds that people inhabit is evident in her body of work currently on display..
